Word of the year - 2026

Instead of setting long lists of resolutions, many of us choose a Word of the Year - a single word that becomes a guide, anchor, or intention for the months ahead.

Your word can reflect what you’re calling in, what you’re learning, or what your soul wants to focus on this year. It might be something you consciously work with all year, or something that unfolds naturally over time.

Take a deep breath. Before scrolling further, pause for a moment and let your intuition lead.

Below, you’ll see a set of cards placed face down. Each card carries a plant ally and a word - a message for the new year. Don’t overthink it. Simply notice which card draws your attention, which one feels right today.

When you’re ready, scroll down to discover the card you chose and read its message.

Below the cards, you will see also the text.

Remember, there is no right or wrong card - only the one that met you in this moment. You might resonate with the word or the plant, or even feel confused at first. Sometimes the message unfolds slowly, over the next few hours or days.

And if you’d like, feel free to share in the comments which card you chose and how it resonated with you. I always love seeing how the same cards speak differently to each person.
